Damien Kellam serves as the President and CEO of DTR Counseling. He is a native of Dublin, GA and currently resides in the Metro Atlanta area. He founded DTR Counseling in 2010 focused on presenting hope to those in peril and those who feel without any hope.  With a keen heart, he seeks to help all those who are in need and hires a team of individuals who share his heart and his passion for helping others. Damien has specialized training in addressing Trauma through : EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) , TREM (Trauma Recovery Empowerment Model), and Seeking Safety. He further has training in addressing Mood Disorders and addressing various emotions through DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). Damien has furthered training in Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) to address a return to values and moral decisions for those who have had legal issues in the past. He is an LPC and also has a Masters Addiction Certification (MAC). Damien has received educational training, having worked on his Associates of Arts in English, Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology, Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling, and his PhD in Educational Psychology with a focus in Intellectual Testing and Research Design.  As a single father, Damien has devoted his life to helping others overcome the shame of their past, while being motivated in their present to continue to engage their future and destiny.
